Subject Selecting Technique

This tutorial is to help you remove subjects from the background.
Photoshop is the software that was used. (Any version should work)

1.Open an image you want to use.
2. Choose the polygonal lasso tool (make sure Anti-aliased is checked & feather set to 0)
3. Now start selecting your image, beginning from top or bottom.
(Using the polygonal lasso tool requires you to click every few centimeters)
4. You should end up with something like bellow.

5. Next go to >Select > Modify > Contract > Enter a value of 1, hit OK
6.Next go to select feather or Alt + CTRL +D (pc) and enter a value of 2 for the radius. Hit Ok
7. Now simply copy and paste into a blank document.


Oh yes i was forgetting, you should also make a selection between the subjects legs, just hold
the ctrl key for that. And then once that is done you can copy and paste, or cut and paste.
