(1) Start by making a new 500x300 image. (Control + N)
(2) Create a new layer
(3) Next take the text tool and make sure stroke is none and fill is black,
click on the center of the page to enter some text; I used the Anastasia font
at a size of 72 and bold and Antialias checked. (But any font at a size of 72 will do)
(4) Now go to effects>3D Effects> Inner Bevel and use the following settings:
(5) De-select.Click on the background layer and create another new raster layer.
(You can name it blue if you want)and with the text tool
create the same text except change the color to dark blue(#0000FF)
(6) Now position the text exactly at the same position of the first and go to
Effects>Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 8.00; de-select and move this layer
above layer1
(7) Create a new raster layer and choose the paintbucket
Change the foreground color to the foreground pattern Glacier and click
anywhere on the image.
(8) OOps can't see the text, don't worry just set the layer blend mode to overlay
and to give it more realism flood fill the background layer with black.
That is it, hope you enjoyed this tutorial and have fun!
